Igor Grbić (b. 1974) is an industrial designer based in Vienna whose work transforms everyday objects through a refined, human-centered approach. He graduated in Industrial Design from the University of Applied Arts and Design in Belgrade (1998) and works across furniture, lighting, and industrial design - engaging with both simple and complex tasks. His work is defined by clarity of form, subtle experimentation, and sensitivity to material and context. Using contemporary production methods, he creates thoughtful, functional objects that quietly challenge conventions. He has collaborated with Fleck, I.D.Pool, Kores, Karasek, Mambaby, MG Architect, Loqware, Nuntio, and others.

For me, design is much more than mere function — it’s a poetic and holistic practice that connects people on an emotional and cultural level. From the first sketches to prototypes, I strive to infuse each object with meaning, tactility, and timeless value. Design is my tool for communication, evoking emotion, and pushing boundaries, with a constant commitment to sustainability and artistic integrity.

I find inspiration for my designs in everyday life. The world around us is like a vast book, full of information that fuels my curiosity and drives me to seek something new and better.
